Avenue 831 started with a scripture, a manufacturer, and an idea.

In 2019, it was called Me+God — a phrase pulled straight from Romans 8:31. What began as a small idea took off during the pandemic, spreading through family and community. The colorways resonated, but the message resonated more. Every collection was born from a real testimony, anchored in scripture.

Then life did what life does.

There was a season of distraction, and then a quieter, harder one. A stretch where the words that once came so easily to encourage others went unspoken over my own heart. I lost hope. I lost joy. And a brand built on both of those things couldn't breathe without them.

But God.

When I let Him back in, I set out to take Me+God to the next level — only to learn someone else had taken the trademark. I fought to hold onto the name. And then something unexpected happened: peace. Not defeat. Peace.

So I prayed. I fasted. And one morning, sitting in traffic on the way to work, God gave me two words: Avenue 831.

Avenue — a way of approaching a problem, of making progress toward something. 831 — still Romans 8:31. Still the same anchor. Still the same God.

I had to go down my own avenue to understand the very person this brand was always meant to reach. Now I'm here — with more clarity, more empathy, and more hope than I've ever had.
